Web & Mobile Design
The brief was to design a sustainable and eco-friendly home goods store for web and mobile called Yum Goods. I researched current interior design trends to get started and decided on the H&M Home aesthetic; sort of Scandinavian and very neutral.
The logo has two variations suitable for normal use and a small version for social media pictures. The little dots represent individuality of the merchandise as it’s all handmade.
I chose a warm colour palette to symbolise the earthy nature of anything that’s made by hand; the imperfections, the little fingerprints on a ceramic pot, the ink bleed on a screen print etc. The little things that feel like home.
